From Course Paper to Journal Article
Tuesday, November 19th
1:00-2:00 pm in Keating Hall, Room 205
In the first GEA Writing Workshop of the year, Professor James Kim will discuss the process of turning a course paper into a publishable journal article. Attendees are encouraged to come to this workshop with an idea of a paper that they would like to revise.
James Kim specializes in Asian American literature and culture as well as eighteenth-century British literature and culture. Some of his work has been published inCamera Obscura andThe Eighteenth Century: Theory and Interpretation. Professor Kim is also teaching a graduate course in the Spring semester called "Race, Affect, Globalization in Asian American Literature" (Race and Emotion).
GEA will bring the food--you bring an idea of a paper to revise!
