Elizabeth Stone & Kim Kupperman Noted in "Best American Essays 2013"
Big congratulations to Kim Dana Kupperman and Elizabeth Stone for having Notable Essays in the 2013 anthology of The Best American Essays.
Kim Dana Kupperman is a Writer-in-Residence at Fordham University. She is the founder of Welcome Table Press, a publishing company dedicated to the power of the essay. Her essay, "Tell me How Long the Train's Been Gone," originally appeared in Hunger Mountain in December 2012. The piece was written as a tribute to James Baldwin on the 25th anniversary of his passing.
Elizabeth Stone is a Professor in Communications and Media Studies and English at Fordham University's Lincoln Center. Stone's essay "Husband Emeritus" was first published in the Gettysburg Review in Spring 2012.
