Nov. 19: Graduate Writing Workshop

From Course Paper to Journal Article

Tuesday, November 19th

1:00-2:00 pm in Keating Hall, Room 205

In the first GEA Writing Workshop of the year, Professor James Kim will discuss the process of turning a course paper into a publishable journal article. Attendees are encouraged to come to this workshop with an idea of a paper that they would like to revise.

James Kim  specializes in Asian American literature and culture as well as eighteenth-century British literature and culture. Some of his work has been published inCamera Obscura andThe Eighteenth Century: Theory and Interpretation. Professor Kim is also teaching a graduate course in the Spring semester called "Race, Affect, Globalization in Asian American Literature" (Race and Emotion).
