Black Lives Matter: Homemade Valentines

On February 12th, staff members of CURA: A Literary Magazine of Art and Action kicked off Valentine's Day weekend by giving out homemade Valentine's Day cards and sweetheart candy at Rose Hill's McGinley Center.

In 2015 - 2016, CURA is dedicated to the theme of 'Black Lives Matter' and aims to gather voices, art, and action in the struggle for racial justice. The valentines featured inspiring quotes from black writers and artists like Toni Morrison, Langston Hughes, James Baldwin and Nicki Minaj.
