Standing Room Only at Bruce Andrews Symposium & Reading

There was standing room only at the Bruce Andrews Symposium and Reading on December 7th, as about 100 people gathered at the South Lounge at Lincoln Center to hear a panel of prominent poets and critics present papers on Andrews' work, followed by a stunning reading by Andrews of new work, including his "white dialect" series of sound poems. Moderated by poet-critic Charles Bernstein (University of Pennsylvania), the panel included Michael Golston, Paul Stephens (both from Columbia), Laura Hinton (CCNY), and Bob Perelman (University of Pennsylvania).
