I don't think anyone loves small talk, but it's something that I've especially grown to hate as an English major over the last three years. And, no, this isn't because I've been spoiled by the high level of discourse in my Fordham classes (although I have)....
Pursue experiences that fulfill you, not experiences that fulfill some checklist
Success is not quantifiable. It can’t be reduced to a formula. It doesn’t come in a package.
Don’t expect to “make it” and “be set.”
In fact, technically speaking, as of the moment you degree is conferred “on” you in the Year of Our Lord [Insert Expected Graduation Date Here], you will likely be technically “unemployed,” a graduation party away from the proverbial real world.
